About the earrings material

This is information about the material of earrings that are used by Beads Ya.

At Beads Ya, we use metal hooks and studs that are made in Japan for earrings.
The silver coloured hooks and studs earrings are made with titanium and the gold colour hooks are made with 14K gold filled.

★Titanium
Titanium metal is widely used in the medical field.
For a well known example, titanium is used in Orthodontic treatment braces wire.
This means that titanium is safer  than other metals, and less people have titanium allergies. Even people with sensitive skin are often able to use this material.

At Beads Ya, we have 2 sizes of titanium hooks.
The Regular (13.5mm) and Long (19mm)
There is an additional charge if you want to change the size from Regular to Long.

NOTE: Very rarely, some people are allergic to titanium. 
At Beads Ya, we can replace the titanium hook for a silicon hook.

★１４Ｋ　Ｇｏｌｄ　Ｆｉｌｌｅｄ
14K gold filled metal is widely used in many accessories.
"Gold filled" is different than "Gold plated".
"Gold filled" is a technique that 14K gold crimp with heat and pressure around the brass.
This technique makes "Gold filled" twenty to thirty times thicker than "Gold plated".
Different technique and thickness makes "Gold filled" stronger. Thus, the "Gold filled" is much more likely to stay on throughout daily use.

At Beads Ya, we have 2 sizes of 14K gold filled hooks.
The Regular (10 mm) and Long (18 mm)
There is an additional charge if you want to change the size from Regular to Long.

★Studs earrings
For studs earrings, we use only titanium metal.
